Dream Title:
Under Attack
the Dream:
There is a covert governmental operation. There are
three people involved; two men and a woman. The
woman is in a position of higher authority. Her
name is Janet Wood. She goes into a darkened room,
leaving the men behind.
Suddenly, a white U.S. Postal Service bin on wheels
comes rolling out, separating the men. Someone falls
into a chasm. It is a long drop to the floor below.
The person lands underneath a staircase; this area is
also darkened. There is the sound of change
dropping, and the sight of a quarter. One man says
to the other, "The Devil." There is the sound of a
gunshot that sounds as if a silencer is attached to
the gun.
There is a person at the staircase. It seems like Max,
from the TV show "Dark Angel." She has a bulldog
with her as she tries to make a getaway. A team of
military soldiers catches up to her. She runs up the
side of the banister and begins to use her martial
arts skills to fight the soldiers.

I woke from this dream feeling very disturbed. As
a matter of fact, I didn't want to go back to sleep. I
knew there was something to it, as I wasn't a
character in the dream.
I woke from this dream at 4:30 in the morning. I
finally was able to return to bed about 8:30, and
slept until noon. When I awoke at that time, the
events of 9/11 had taken place. Again, that feeling
of being disturbed, naturally, had come back.
As the aftermath of 9/11 continued to unfold, I realized there was a timeline that matched
elements from my dream:
The U.S. Postal Bin rolling out empty is symbolic of the interruption of the postal service
due to the threat of Anthrax.
The sound of change dropping represents the "change" in the economy.
The mention of "the devil": This is symbolic of the leaders in mainstream Christian ministry
that the 9/11 attacks were the workings of the Devil.
Someone falling into a chasm: representative of people falling from the Towers during the
attacks.
