I have been following, with great interest, "American Idol"
this season. As the finale draws near, the top two finalists
are Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis.
I don't know if you use the Tarot for things such as this, but
I am curious to see what the cards would say about which
one of these performers would win the contest. Would you
consider doing a reading on this?

Dear "Idol" Watcher,
I like your question! I must confess that I have done a Tarot
reading about who would win "American Idol" in the past. It
was the season in which it was down to Carrie Underwood and
Bo Bice. I wanted Carrie to win, as she had me hooked after she

This year, my interest in "Idol" has waned, so I haven't watched
it as I used to. I became interested when I saw Blake's
performance of Bon Jovi's "You Give Love a Bad Name." After
that, he was my boy! I wanted him to win, especially when
front runner Melinda Doolittle got eliminated. But attention
went from Melinda to Jordin, so I became uncertain about this.
I decided, the day of the finale, before it aired, to do a reading

is a saying that slow and steady wins the race. Jordin has been
slow to rise to the top, and she has been consistent, another
word for steady. This card characterizes someone as being
dependable. I see this as people believing that one could depend
on Jordin to deliver, as far as performance is concerned.
Another aspect of this card is predictability. A lot of people are
already predicting Jordin to be the winner.
